Welcome to Random Acts Theatre

Random Acts Theatre was founded by Todd and Mandy Baker, two Deer Park natives. They started STEPS Performing Arts Center in 2002 and have been bringing the arts to Deer Park ever Since. Random Acts Theatre is here to bring the highest quality theatre experience to the community.

Travis Blount, Artistic Director for Random Acts, is a Ft. Worth Texas native. He grew up directing and producing plays for the neighborhood since he was 7yrs old. His professional Thatre career began at the age of 16 with the Granbury Opera House as an Actor and Stage-Hand.

Travis was awarded an acting scholarship to Stephens College where he earned a BFA in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Acting, Music and Directing. Since his graduation he has worked as an actor in Houston and Dallas-Ft. Worth. In Houston he has worked for The Express Childrens Theatre, Unhinged Productions and The Texas Repertory Theatre.
